Meeting (15/2/14)

The meeting was called to order by the President at 10.30 a.m. The activities we had on that day were team building activities. The meeting started with a briefing on the games that were going to be played. Then the members were divided into 2 groups. The first game was 'balloon bursting game'. In this game, each group has to appoint one of the members to be the king who will be given a balloon. Each group has to get to the other group's king and burst the balloon. The rest of the members acting as soldiers have to prevent the opponent group from reaching their king.

The second game carried out was 'newspaper game'. In this game, the members still in groups of two are required to form pairs among members of their own groups. At the previous station, the legs of each members are tied to the legs of their partner's. They then have to walk to the next station where each pairs had to squash newspapers into balls by only using one hand. They have to throw the newspaper ball into a pail kept distance away. If the pairs couldn't manage to throw the ball into the pail upon 5 times trying,they have to repeat the game in the next station twice.

In the next game, both members in each pair have to bring a ping pong ball each using a spoon to the next station. If the ping poll ball drops, they have to repeat this game.

Upon reaching the next station, the members have to find a person who is hiding to receive their next clue. They are given clue on the appearance of the person they have to look for. Once they manage to find the person, they are quizzed on the history of guides and ranjers. Thay can only proceed to the next station if they manage to answer them.

The last game was ' chair arranging game'. A number of chairs are arranged in a particular pattern. The members are required to rearrange the chairs in the same pattern but facing the opposite side. Once they successfully rearrange the chairs, they gathered and ended the meeting with their usual horseshoe formation. Throughout the meeting and games, all the members showed great team spirit. Everyone worked together as a team and they definitely achieved this team building activities' objective. The meeting ended at 12.30 p.m.
