Farewell Party

 

12th unit rangers as well as 1st, 2nd and 31st coy guides bids farewell to teachers who really cared, Miss Swaran and Puan Rohani. Ms Swaran has been our head guider for more than a decade. She has put in a lot of efforts in shaping us into who we are today. Since Form 1, she has been guiding and nurturing us to become a good guider and make us committed to the guides and rangers family.  Not only that, she has made great sacrifices in order to make our big family committed to the society by organizing charity trips and camps. And on 28th of April 2012, we organized a farewell party for her as well as for Pn Rohani, another teacher adviser who will be retiring soon.

The party started at 9:00, where all the members and teacher advisers had gathered in the trinity hall. Then, all the members enthusiastically welcomed the arrival of Miss Sawaran and Puan Rohani. Subsequently, the form 3 and 2 under the lead of May Chua, dedicated 'Just the way you are' to both the teachers. And of course the 12th unit rangers had their own performance as well. We dedicated two songs to the teachers, a medley 'It will rain/ Set fire to the rain' by Sam Tsui and ' What makes you beautiful' by One Direction.

 

After the performances, we started to dine and Miss Swaran gave her speech, followed by Puan Chew Wai Keng, Choh Pui Kei and May Chua Siew May. We truly appreciate whatever Miss Swaran has done for us. You will always remain in our heart, Miss Swaran!Without your guidance, we would be nothing. Happy Retirement!
