Rangers and Guides Annual Camp 2012

The annual camp was held on the 16th of May to 18th of May 2012. We are amazingly lucky to have members who are so supportive and proactive in our unit and of course the committees too. Without the support from all of you, the camp would not run smoothly and would not be as successful as this. We are grateful for what you've all done for our unit. Thank You!

16/03/2012

Registration started at 12:30 noon at 3 Heron. After all the campers have registered, they were allocated to the upper hall and were assigned to do respective duties for campsite cleaning. Later, the camp proceeded with marching competition and photo hunt! And the winners are:

Subsequently, we did senamrobik right after the photo hunt. In this activity, points can be earned by being the most active participant.

At 7:30, we had our dinner, Nasi Lemak! spoon-lickin'-good. At 8:45, Sarong Night was held. a.k.a Talent Time with sarong on!

After Sarong Night, the camp proceeded with the final briefing on gathering by our unit leader, Choh Pui Kei.

All groups were required to carry out their respective duties assigned according to their shifts.

18/03/2012

At 7:00, after breakfast, everyone gathered at the upper hall. And each group had to send a few representatives to advertise the given items, 'somehow related yet, not related items' on the stage.

After advertising, each group was asked to gather at the back of the open hall ( the starting point of IRON GUIDE). The purpose of this activity was to allow the campers to gain experience and knowledge of what iron guide truly is.

At 10, cooking competition took place in the kh room. Each group was given chicken meat, 8 eggs and cabbage to cook. The duration for the cooking competition was 2 hours.

At 1, team-building games were organized. The marks were excluded in this activity due to time constraints.After team-building, each and every group were responsible for cleaning the school compound. At 3, after everything had been cleaned, all campers were to gather at the upper for prize presentation.
